As soon as you've gone through the tutorial, then you will be able to input a formal Soul Wars match. The goal is simple -- remove the opposing group's Avatar as many times as possible before the timer hits zero. A game will typically operate for 15 minutes, but might end early if time pulls five Avatar eliminations. Along the way you can capture Soul Obelisks to reduce the enemy Avatar's power, forfeit Spirit Fragments from defeated enemies to harm their Avatar, and ruin different barricades to create new routes of access.
